Looking forward to singing backup vocals for my good friend Amiena at her cd release show and party on Friday, August 11 at Tripp in Santa Monica. Amiena is an award winning international artist and songwriter with a beautiful voice and music that covers a variety of styles including Adult Contemporary, Soul/R&B and World Music. This will be her seventh cd and certainly one of her best. Her band is made up of some of the best players in the biz including Chris Roy, Jamie Kime, Billy Steinway, and Jorge Villanueva.
